Miss Frampton: What is the problem with your vehicle?

Rhys: My problem was that my car kept breaking and people kept taking my wheels.  I solved this problem by putting plasticine to keep the wheels on.

Term 2 Maths Other Strand - Measurement (Length)

I am learning to:
Compare length using descriptive language.
Measure using informal units.
Use non-standard units to measure.

Express measurements by counting non-standard units.

This is me estimating how many 1cm cubes my hand span, longest finger and shortest finger are.
I then measured using the 1cm cubes to check how accurate I was.

I made a 18cm ruler using grided paper and cardboard.
I then used this ruler to measure many different things around the room.

I am learning to brainstorm using looks like, sounds like and feels like.
I am learning to describe a autumn leaf using my brainstorm.
I am learning to publish my writing.

We have been learning about forces and motion.
I have made a pinwheel that spins when I blow it.
I am the force when I blow and the motion is that the pinwheel spins.
